Inside Otto Society

Hi, I couldn't afford to buy a house in this economy so thought I'd make a digital (and fashion) one instead.

Otto Society was dreamed up by me, Samantha Moitzi (excuse the formalities), and is a fashion house celebrating self-expression, self-discovery, self-love and style!

Named after my late Opa, Otto Moitzi, Otto Society is my way of embracing my; European heritage, personal brand and timeless yet trend-pushing style. It celebrates the adventure of wearing pieces new and old, in style combinations that most would overlook. It's not about what your wearing and how much it costs, but how you wear it and how it makes you feel.

Growing up on the Gold Coast, Australia, looking like everyone else is a normal way to "fit in", and I conformed, but it never felt right.. I was always changing my style with trends trying to find it... nothing felt like me.

So in 2020, I co-founded a fashion brand, which birthed pieces that embraced classic European silhouettes mixed with an edgy twist. 5 years later, I'm rebranding, all on my own. Otto Society will be a home for these pieces to be reimagined and brought back to life, better and with real intention (coming very soon).

In 2025, I did a very brave thing and moved to London. Since, I have been blown away by the sea of pre-loved pieces, sourced from so many different countries and cultures from across the globe. Pieces with stories, yearning for someone to write their next chapter.

I know thrifting isn't new, and neither is wearing pre-loved clothing but having access to thrift shops, boutiques and pieces and having someone else to dig through the crap to find the hidden treasures for you, well that's where our Otto Society's pre-loved edit comes in.

My idea of a good time is finding something simple and making it extra and finding something extra and making it appropriate for every day.

I believe life is happening right now, so don't wait around for occasions to dress well and impress other people, impress yourself every day, even if you're just popping out to put fuel in your car, picking up your kids, or going on a coffee run.

So why create Otto Society, when I love my entire wardrobe (past, present and future)? I can’t help going into a thrift shop every time I walk past, and with my job in styling and social media, I love putting outfits together but the reality is, I don't live with my sisters or best friends anymore and now no one is stealing my clothes, I simply have more than I can wear and yes, enter... YOU.

People are always asking me where I've gotten something from, for style advice and/or outfit inspiration and to be honest, I am humbled by this reality (thank u, love u)!! Tagging my outfits used to be a simple way to share the inspiration, but now when a lot of what I'm wearing a one off find, it's getting tough not to gate-keep, and we don't support gate-keeping behaviour in my house.

Let's be real there is nothing more annoying then someone saying "I got this from a small boutique in Spain", urrghh yawn, but also, it's the truth so what do I do?

With 50 million ideas daily, and too much creative energy to contain, I wanted to create a place for my favourite wardrobe finds, ideas, style inspiration, personal brand and whatever else my brain thinks of at 2am, so it's all here, to be enjoyed.

With lots to come, so far, you'll find a pre-loved edit available to shop, which is my personal curation of second-hand treasures ready for you to give a home, make your own and write it's next chapter. And don't worry I've included my two cents of style advice in every description for good measure of course.

Every piece is handpicked by me with intent, to those who want to be part of the club.

Welcome to Otto Society <33333
